Day 1: COCHIN

Upon your arrival in Cochin a representative of our office will come to welcome you and accompany you to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2: COCHIN

After breakfast we will visit Cochin, the most cosmopolitan and varied city of South India due to its history. You will see the Dutch Palace in Mattancherry, the synagogue with the Jewish quarter, the church of San Francesco which preserves the tombstone of Vasco de Gama, the Chinese networks. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3: COCHIN - MUNNAR (145 km. about 4 hours)

After breakfast, departure for Munnar, hill health resort at 1700 meters above sea level. Arrival in the evening. Overnight.

Day 4: MUNNAR - PERIYAR (100 km. about 2 hours)

After breakfast, transfer to Periyar (Thekkady). Along the journey we will go into the cardamon hill (the spice hill). In the evening we will arrive at the village of Kumly, great for shopping for Indian crafts and spices. Overnight.

Day 5: PERIYAR
Breakfast at the hotel and a visit to the Periyar Park. In the early evening we will take a boat trip on the lake of the same name (good chance to see wildlife, especially birds but also elephants). Overnight.

Day 6: PERIYAR - KUMARAKOM - ALLEPPEY (125 km. about 3 and a half hours)

After breakfast, transfer to Kumarakom, boarding a house boat in the early afternoon t. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 7: ALLEPPEY - KOVALAM (170 km. about 4 and a half hours)

Arrival in the morning at Alleppey and transfer by car to Kovalam. Hotel accommodation and rest of the day is free. Overnight.

Day 8: KOVALAM

Day 9: KOVALAM - TRIVANDRUM

Morning transfer to the airport
