Day 1: DELHI
Upon arrival in Delhi I meet the representative of our office in Delhi and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 2: DELHI - BHUBANESWAR
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Bhubaneswar. Arrival and check in at the Hotel. Bhubaneswar: The capital of Orissa, an important ancient temple-city of India, Bhubaneswar represents a fine example of art and culture. After refreshing yourself, a half-day visit to Bhubaneswar. Visit some of the city's beautiful caves temple. Overnight.
Day 3: BHUBANESWAR - PURI
After breakfast departure for Puri, on the way stop for a tour of Dhauli Peace Pagoda, Pipili Applique Village and Raghurajpur Artisan Village and other attractions. Arrival in Puri and check in at the hotel. Overnight.
Day 4: PURI -KONARK -PURI
After breakfast excursion to Konark Sun Temple in Konark. Then return to Puri. Afternoon visit to the city with the famous Lord Jagannath Temple, Sankaracharya Ashram, Narendra Tank, Bazaar etc. Overnight.
Day 5: PURI - CHILKA
After breakfast we will proceed to Chilka (140 km - 5 hours), along the way visit to the Coastal Orissan villages. Here you can observe the local populations, their culture and traditions. You can also attend an exciting and unique ox-cart race. Arrival in Chilka and check in at the hotel. Overnight.
Day 6: CHILKA - BALIGUDA
Morning excursion to the beautiful Lake Chilka, the largest brackish water lake in Asia, with its fauna of exotic migratory birds. Visit the famous Nalabana Bird Sanctuary always by boat. Later we will head to Baliguda (280km - 6 hours) through a beautiful landscape of the surrounding countryside with distant Sal forest mountains. On the way visit to other typical villages. Arrival in Baliguda and check in at the hotel. Overnight.
Day 7: BALIGUDA - BELGHAR - RAYAGADA
After breakfast departure for Barakhamba and the Belghar tribal region (230 km - 5 hours). Tour of the tribe with the tattooed faces of Desia Kondh and Kuttiyam Kondh. After we will reach Rayagada stop at the Kotagarh Market. Arrival in Rayagada and check in at the hotel. Overnight.
Day 8: RAYAGADA - JEYPORE
After breakfast departure for Jeypore (220 km - 5 hours), on the way visit to Chatikona to attend the colorful weekly market of the Dongaria Kondh tribes. Visit also the villages of the primitive Dongaria Kondh, once famous for making human sacrifices. Arrival in Jaypore and overnight.
Day 9: JEYPORE - ANKADELLI - JEYPORE
After breakfast, excursion to Ankadelli (70 km) to attend the primitive and very interesting market of the Bonda. Bordering the state of Andhra Pradesh, the place is known for its mountains, forests, and waterfalls. Walk 2-3 km inside the forest to see the Bonda in their natural environment. The Bondas are the most primitive people of India and are also known as the "naked mountain tribe". Bonda women wear silver and bronze rings and necklaces around their necks and a piece of cloth to cover their private parts. Bonda men produce their bows and arrows and their liqueur. In the afternoon, departure for the Lamtaput region to see the Gadabas, another primitive tribe. Here you can watch the colorful dancing performance of the Dems. Towards evening return to Jeypore. Overnight.
Day 10: JEYPORE -KUNDULI - NANDAPUR - JEYPORE
After breakfast, departure for the largest tribal market of the Sanaparoja and Mali to Kunduli (65 km). It is a very colorful market. Following arrival in Nandapur to visit the villages of the Sanaparoja tribes. Also visit the Khilus, Saana Padar and Bada Padar tribes. Return to Jeypore. Overnight.
Day 11: JEYPORE - GUPTESWAR - JEYPORE
After breakfastm departure for Gupteswar (70 km) to visit the Dhuruba ethnic villages. Then visit the villages Ramanguda, Dogariguda, Silpader and Talur. Also visit the temples made from caves in the mountains and dedicated to God Shiva. Following departure for Nuagaon for the weekly market of the Sana Paroja tribes. Return to Jeypore. Overnight.
Day 12: JEYPORE - JAGDALPUR
After breakfast, departure for Jagdalpur (90 km), on the way visit to villages of Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh is the state adjacent to Orissa. Jagdalpur is its capital of the famous Bastar, another local tribe. Arrival in Jagdalpur and check in at the hotel and relax. Overnight.
Day 13: JAGDALPUR - KANGER VALLEY NATIONAL PARK - JAGDALPUR
After breakfast continue to the Kanger Valley National Park, famous for its wild nature, unusual limestone structures, stalagmites and stalactites etc. Visit some local tribes, entering their homes. Picnic with a view of Tiratgarh Fall. In the evening return to Jagdalpur. Overnight.
Day 14: JAGDALPUR
After breakfast departure for Kondagaon (150 km - 4 hours). Visit and exploration of the Dokra villages, the Museum and the Palace of Bastar. Return to Jagdalpur. Overnight.
Day 15: JAGDALPUR - KANKER - RAIPUR
After breakfast return to Raipur, on the way visit other tribal villages and the Kanker Palace. Arrival in Raipur and check in at the hotel. Overnight.
Day 16: RAIPUR - DELHI
After breakfast departure by flight to Delhi Arrival in Delhi and hotel accommodation near the international airport. Late in the evening transfer to the airport.
