ॐ DELHI - BAGDOGRA - DARJEELING - GANGTOK - KALINGPONG ॐ
Day 1: DELHI
Upon your arrival in Delhi, a representative of our office will come to welcome you and accompany you to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 2: DELHI
After breakfast at the hotel, visit of the Old Delhi (Shahajahanabad), the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid Friday Mosque with a thrilling ride on the rickshaw in the narrow and crowded streets of Old Delhi. Following is a visit to New Delhi with its most important monuments: the colonial government buildings in front of the India Gate, the Mausoleum of Emperor Humayun and the Qutub Minar complex. Overnight.
Day 3: DELHI - BAGDOGRA - DARJEELING
After breakfast, flight to Bagdogra. Upon arrival in Bagdogra we will continue to Darjeeling. Hotel accommodation. In the afternoon, visit Ghoom by train and return with the Jeep. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 4: DARJEELING
Very early excursion on the hills of Tigris to admire the sunrise. Visit to the Tibetan Monastery of Ghoom. In the afternoon visit to the village of Lablongm and also to the Institute of Mountaineering Tenzing Norgay (famous sherpa, companion of Hillary, first conqueror of Everest). Overnight in Hotel.
Day 5: DARJEELING - GANGTOK
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Gantok, arrival in the afternoon. Evening available. Overnight.
Day 6: GANGTOK
Breakfast at the hotel and half day visit to the monasteries Enchey, Tashiling, and Tsuk-La khang, and the palden Tondup Cottage Industries Institute. Free afternoon. Overnight.
Day 7: GANGTOK - KALIMPONG
After breakfast departure for Kalimpong. Upon arrival hotel accommodation. Afternoon dedicated to visits ro Durpin Dara, Tharpa, Choling Monastery, and Zong Dog Parli Fo-Brang Monastery. Overnight.
Day 8: KALIMPONG - DELHI
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Delhi by scheduled flight, arrival in Delhi. Afternoon available for personal activities, shopping or relaxation. Late evening transfer to the international airport and departure for Italy by night flight.
