RAJASTHAN  COLORFUL  - 12 days

DAY 1: DELHI 21/02
Departure from USA/UK with flight to Delhi. Overnight on board.

DAY 2: DELHI 22/02
Arrival in Delhi and transfer to the hotel. In the morning, visit of the Old Delhi (Shahajahanabad), the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid Friday Mosque with a thrilling ride on the rickshaw in the narrow and crowded streets of Old Delhi. Below is a visit to New Delhi with its most important monuments: the colonial government buildings in front of the India Gate, the Mausoleum of Emperor Humayun and the Qutub Minar complex. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 3: DELHI - JAIPUR (265 km 5 hours approx.) 23/02
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning departure for Jaipur. Arrival and accommodation at the hotel. First visit of Jaipur to the famous Galta Ji, the temple of the monkeys. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: JAIPUR 24/02
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit the Amber Fort, 11 km away. from Jaipur, imposing fortress of Rajput civilization. To overcome the last stretch of climb to the fort is mounted on the back of placid elephants almost to recall the ancient deeds of the Maharaja. Inside the walls you can visit palaces and pavilions of refined beauty and the small but precious temple of the Goddess Kali. In the afternoon visit of the city, capital of Rajasthan, the "pink city", one of the most beautiful and picturesque in India. Visit to the famous Hawa Mahal or the palace of the winds and the palace of the Maharaja (City Palace), largely converted into a museum and the Astronomical Observatory (Jantar Mantar). Dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: JAIPUR - BIKANER (275 km 5 and a half hours approximately) 25/02
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning departure for Bikaner, which rises in the great Tar desert. In the afternoon, visit to the Junagarh Fort which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and listed among the most beautiful fortresses in the world, thanks to its precious sculptural works. After the visit, transfer to the hotel and check-in. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: BIKANER - JAISALMER (330 km 6 hours approx.) 26/02
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning departure for Jaisalmer, crossing almost the entire desert of the Tar, on the western border with Pakistan. Jaisalmer represents the most exotic destination, from "one thousand and one nights", of the entire journey. Stop for a visit to Gadi Sagar Lake. Hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.

DAY 7: JAISALMER 27/02
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning visit to the fortified citadel and its palaces. Particular care will be given to his numerous temples and Haveli such as Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli and Patwon-Ji-Ki-Haveli. In the afternoon excursion to admire the sunset on the dunes of the Thar desert on the back of a camel led by the Bedouins of the area wrapped in their fascinating cloaks. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 8: JAISALMER - JODHPUR (310 km 5 hours and a half) 28/02
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning departure for Jodhpur. Located south of Jaisalmer, the "Blue City" is a bizarre town of colorful, white, blue houses, whose history dates back to the mid-fifteenth century. Arrival in Jodhpur and visit the imposing and wonderful Fort Mehrangarh, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 9: JODHPUR - PUSHKAR (190 km 3 hours approximately) 01/03
After breakfast, departure for Pushkar, the famous town of Rajasthan, best known for its "camel fair", held in November but also for being one of the holy cities of India. Arrival in Pushkar and "Puja" (prayer) to the sacred lake. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 10: PUSHKAR - FATEHPUR SIKRI - AGRA (232 km 5 hours approximately) 02/03
After breakfast transfer to Agra, stopping at Fatehpur Sikri for the visit of the deserted capital of the sixteenth century, abandoned after only 14 years of its construction, with beautiful red sandstone buildings. Arrival in Agra and hotel accommodation. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 11: AGRA - DELHI (215 km 5 hours approximately) 03/03
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning visit of the Taj Mahal, named the first wonder of the world; visit of the Agra Fort, former imperial residence of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Following return to Delhi. Hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.

DAY 12: DELHI - USA/UK 04/03
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning in good time transfer to the airport and boarding the flight back to home.
