Day 1: ARRIVAL - DELHI
Departure with flight to Delhi. Upon your arrival in Delhi, a representative of our office will come to welcome you and accompany you to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: DELHI
Breakfast at the hotel and start of tour to the old city (Shahajahanabad), Red Fort, Jama Masjid Friday Mosque with rickshaw ride on the streets of Old Delhi, then visit New Delhi with its most important monuments: the colonial government buildings in front of the India Gate, the Mausoleum of Emperor Humayun and the Qutub Minar complex. Overnight.
Day 3: DELHI - DIBRUGARH
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Dibrugarh. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Dibrugarh, located on the banks of the Brahmaputra, is mainly famous for its tea. In fact in the afternoon we will go to see the plantations of the Assam, where the collection of leaves is still done by hand, you can also practice this work. Then we will visit a tea factory to see how these leaves are processed and packaged. Finally we will participate in the "ceremony" of tasting the final product. Overnight.
Day 4 : DIBRUGARH – DIGBOI - DIBRUGARH
After breakfast departure for Digboi (65 km / 2 hours), where the oil industry in India was born. The first refinery began working since 1901. Following is a visit to the World War II cemetery, the Oil Museum, Centenary Park. Then we will continue to Ketatong, a Singpho ethnic village. The Singpho are a tribe that comes from Kachin in Myanmar and are related to Chinese Jingpo. Legend has it that the English learned everything about you from the Singphos and exported it all over the world. After lunch, visit the organic tea garden of the Singpho tribe. Return to Dibrugarh. Overnight.
Day 5: DIBRUGARH – SIBSAGAR- MAJULI
In the morning, visit Sibsagar (80 km / 2 hours), the old capital of the Ahom, who ruled Assam for 600 years before the advent of the British. You will see ancient temples such as Ranghar (Asia's largest amphitheater), Karenghar, Talatalghar, Siva Dol, etc. Following continuation for Jorhat (55 km / 1 hour). After lunch departure for the port of Neemati to take the ferry to Majuli, one of the largest inhabited river islands in the world. The navigation takes about 2 hours, arriving at Majuli in the middle of the river Brahmaputra, where there are several species of migratory birds from around the world. Day 6: MAJULI – JORHAT - KAZIRANGA
The morning view of the Mishing village. After visit the famous "satras" (monasteries) of Majuli where you can attend the traditional dances 'Satryra' (which is the national dance of India), and the houses of the Mishing villages. In the afternoon return to Jorhat (another 2 hours) and departure for the Kaziranga National Park (96 km / 2 hours), a "world heritage site" and famous for the monocorn rhinos. Arrival at the resort and overnight.
Day 7: KAZIRANGA
Wake up early for an exciting 1-hour elephant hike and start admiring rhinos, wild elephants, Indian bisons, deer, samba so closely. Return to the hotel for breakfast and immediately leave for a Jeep safari inside the central part of the park. In the afternoon, another Jeep safari in the western part of the Park. In the evening dance show at the resort. Overnight.
Day 8: KAZIRANGA - GUWAHATI
In the morning departure to Guwahati airport (230 km / 5 hours). Guwahati, the gateway to North East India, is an important commercial center and is also called Pragjyotishpura (The Eastern City of Light) and also mentioned in the great epic book of the Mahabharata. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon visit to Srimanta Shankerdev Kalashetra, a multi-artistic complex that illustrates the whole complex culture of life in Assam as well as the whole North East region. In the evening, boat trip on the Brahmaputra river. Overnight.
Day 9: GUWAHATI – DELHI - DEPARTURE
After breakfast departure by flight to Delhi, arrival in Delhi and hotel accommodation near the international airport. Late in the evening transfer to the airport and departure by scheduled flight.

Day 10: GUWAHATI – SHILLONG
After a very early breakfast, three hours drive to reach the windy hills that lead to the Shillong region (105 km). Along the way, visit of the Umiam Lake. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon visit of Shillong. Visit the Wards Lake, Bishop and Bidon falls. Visit also the park of the Tiro con l'Arco, a relaxing and unique place. Overnight.
Day 11: SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE - SHILLONG
Early in the morning, departure for Cherrapunjee (54 km / 2 hours), famous place to be the wettest place on earth. Cherrapunjee's oranges and honey are very famous and it is also a good place to admire the Bangladeshi plains. Returning, stop at Shillong Peak (1965 m) which offers a wonderful view of the city and the falls of the Elephant falls. Visit to the Nohsngithiang Falls (mawsmai falls), Nohkalikai Falls (the fourth highest in the world), the caves of Mawsmai, the mission of Ramkrishna etc. Finally return to Shillong. Overnight.
Day 12: SHILLONG – MAWLYNNONG - SHILLONG
Excursion to Mawlynnong (85 km / 3 hours), one of the cleanest and most cute villages in Asia. Walk to a bridge of living roots to the point where you can see Bangladesh. Visit the village to learn about the Khasi tribal culture. Return to Shillong. Overnight.
Day 13: SHILLONG – GUWAHATI – DELHI - ITALIA
After breakfast, departure to Guwahati airport (130 km / 4 hours) for the flight to Delhi. Arrival in Delhi and hotel accommodation near the international airport. Late in the evening transfer to the airport and departure by scheduled flight.
