Programma del tour (giornaliero):

Day 1: ARRIVAL - DELHI

Departure with flight to Delhi. Upon your arrival in Delhi, a representative of our office will come to welcome you and accompany you to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: DELHI

After breakfast at the hotel, tour of the Old Delhi (Shahajahanabad), the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid Friday Mosque with a thrilling ride on the rickshaw in the narrow and crowded streets of Old Delhi. Following is a visit to New Delhi with its most important monuments: the colonial government buildings in front of the India Gate, the Mausoleum of Emperor Humayun and the Qutub Minar complex. Overnight.

Day 3: DELHI – BHUBANESHWAR

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Bhubaneswar. Arrival and check in at the hotel. Bhubaneswar: The capital of Orissa, an important ancient temple-city of India, Bhubaneswar represents a fine example of art and culture. After refreshing yourself, a half-day visit to Bhubaneswar. Visit some of the city's beautiful Caves temples. Overnight.

Day 4: BHUBANESHWAR – BALLIGUDA  (305 Km. bout 7 hours)

After breakfast departure for BALLIGUDA, we will visit tribal villages and the Balliguda falls in the district of Phulbani which is a fascinating area as it is rich in lush nature, mountains, and even wild animals. Overnight. 

Day 5: BALLIGUDA – RAYAGADA  (165 Km. about 4 hours)

After breakfast departure for RAYAGUDA on the road we will stop to visit the famous Kondh tribes and their villages. Once famous for making human sacrifices, they now sacrifice buffalo. The Kondh belong to a Dravico group and speak the Kui dialect. Their weapons are bows and arrows, to defend themselves from wild animals. Also visit the weekly market. Arrival at Rayagada, check-in at the hotel and overnight. 

Day 6: RAYAGADA - DONGRIA TRIBES – RAYAGADA  (47 Km. about 1 hour)

Full day for the visit of the Dongria tribe, more sedentary and pleasant. Visit various villages and their homes to discover their culture. Return to Rayagada. Overnight. 

Day 7: RAYAGADA – CHATIKONA – JEYPORE  (220 Km. about 5 hours)

After breakfast departure for Jeypore (220 km - 5 hours), on the way visit to Chatikona to attend the colorful weekly market of the Dongaria Kondh tribes. Visit also the villages of the primitive Dongaria Kondh, and their colorful market. Arrival in Jaypore and overnight.

Day 8: JEYPORE – ONUKUDELLI - JEYPORE  (75 Km. about 2 hours)

After breakfast we leave for the Onukudelli region to see the Didayi Bonda tribes. The succinct clothes of the Bonda women and the homicidal tendency of their men, make this tribe one of the most fascinating and remain in contrast with the other ethnic groups of Orissa. They are experienced farmers, which you can see in their terrace crops. Return to Jeypore and overnight. 

Day 9: JEYPORE - PRAJA & SANA TRIBES – JEYPORE (75 Km. about 2 hours)

Full day dedicated to visiting the Paraja and Sona tribes and the Friday tribal market. The Paraja dialect is Parji. They worship various gods and goddesses who reside in the forest. During weddings the Parajas love to dance with music. In the evening return to Jeypore. Overnight. 

Day 10: JEYPORE – LAMTAPUT – JEYPORE  (75 Km. about 2 hours)

Full day for visiting the Lamptaput area, the Gadabba tribe and their Saturday market. The Gadabbas are among the oldest tribes of Orissa, and even traces of them can be found on the epic, Ramayana. They are more like the mountains of Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. They speak the dialect Gutab and are quite resident peoples, live the large villages and their most famous dance is the Demsa. You can attend a popular and colorful dance. Then return to Jeypore and overnight.

Day 11: JEYPORE – RAYAGADA  (140 Km. about 4 hours)

After breakfast departure for Rayagada, on the way visit to villages of Desia Kondh. They are also expert growers. Visit their market. Arrival in Ragayada and overnight. 

Day 12: RAYAGADA – TAPTAPANI  (165 Km. about 4 hours)

After breakfast departure for Taptapnai, on the way stop to visit the Saora tribes and their way of life. The Saora are very ancient tribes and come from the Mahabarat. Arrival and overnight. 

Day 13: TAPTAPANI – CHILKA LAKE – PURI  (225 Km. about 5 hours)

After breakfast departure for Puri, on the way stop to admire the Chilka Lake, the largest brackish water lake in Asia, with its fauna of exotic migratory birds. Visit the famous Nalabana Bird Sanctuary by boat. Continuation and arrival in Puri, overnight stay. 

Day 14: PURI

Full day at Puri beach. 

Day 15: PURI – KONARK – BHUBANESHWAR (110 Km. about 2 hours) 

After breakfast, visit the Jagannath Temple and the fishing village. So departure for Bubaneshwar. On the way visit the world famous Sun Temple "the Black Pagoda" of Konark, shining in the sand dunes. Example of architecture Kalinga is now Unesco's artistic heritage. Arrival at Bhubaneshwar and overnight.

Day 16: BHUBANESHWAR – DELHI

After breakfast departure by flight to Delhi / Kolkata, arrival and hotel accommodation near the international airport. Late in the evening transfer to the airport and departure.
