Day 1: ARRIVAL - KATHMANDU

Departure by scheduled flight. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, meet with our representative who will receive you and take you to the Hotel Prescelto. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: KATHMANDU

In the morning tour of the city, located at 1300 m. of altitude surrounded by the foothills of the Himalayan range. The architecture of the city is the result of an interesting mix of Buddhist and Hindu culture, which gives temples and palaces an unmistakable appearance. We will also visit the great Stupa of Swayambhunath, an ancient sanctuary of two thousand years, revered as much by Buddhists as by Hindus. In the afternoon visit to Patan, an ancient city with countless art treasures. Continuation to the Tibetan refugee camp dedicated to the weaving of carpets and wool. Overnight.

Day 3: KATHMANDU

Morning dedicated to the tour of the Hindu sanctuary of Pashupatinath (the "Varanasi of Nepal"), dedicated to Shiva, on the banks of the sacred river Bagnati where burn the pyre of the faithful led to the cremation, and the Buddhist stupa of Bodhnath, at the base of which faithful make the "prayer wheels" turn. Free afternoon for individual activities. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: KATHMANDU - DHULIKHEL

After breakfast, transfer by car to Dhulikhel, a pleasant mountain station 30 km away from Kathmandu, located about 1700 meters above sea level, from which you can enjoy the spectacular view of the Himalayan peaks. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: DHULIKHEL - POKHARA

Departure in the morning to the valley of Pokhara, where the landscape will leave you speechless. Arrival after about six hours of travel. Hotel accommodation. Afternoon free for relaxation or for a ride in the bazaars that crowd the lakefront. Overnight.

Day 6: POKHARA

Tour of Pokhara, and boat ride on Lake Phewa. Afternoon available for relaxation or for guided walks in the hilly area. Overnight.

Day 7: POKHARA - CHITWAN

At dawn, you can go to a vantage point outside Pokhara to admire the peaks of the Annapurna range and the Fish Tail (Machapuchare). Following, transfer to Chitwan National Park. At sunset, the first safari in the Park on the jeep. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8: CHITWAN - KATHMANDU

Tour at dawn, when the animals go to drink and the tigers to rest after night hunting, second safari in the Park. In the afternoon, return to Kathmandu. Arrival and accommodation at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 9: KATHMANDU - NAGARKOT

After breakfast, excursion to the medieval city of Bhadgaon (Bhaktapur). In the afternoon, transfer to Nagarkot, a mountain village north of Kathmandu from where you can watch the sunset over the Himalayas. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: NAGARKOT - KATHMANDU - DEPARTURE

If the weather is clear, there is the possibility of seeing a magical sunrise on the highest peaks in the world. Morning at leisure for a little trekking through the Nepalese villages populated by colorful ethnic minorities. In the afternoon, transfer to Kathmandu. Along the way, stop for a visit to the delightful village of Changunarayan. Arrival and transfer to the international airport. Departure with return flight home.
