Day 1: ARRIVAL – KOLKATA

Upon arrival in Kolkata meeting with representative of our office and transfer to the chosen hotel. Overnight at Hotel Senator.

Day 2: KOLKATA - GUWAHATI

After breakfast, transfer to the domestic airport for the flight to Guwahati. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Guwahati, the gateway to North East India, is an important commercial center and is also called Pragjyotishpura (The Eastern City of Light) and also mentioned in the great epic book of the Mahabharata. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon visit to Srimanta Shankerdev Kalashetra, a multi-artistic complex that illustrates the whole complex culture of life in Assam as well as the whole North-East region. Overnight.

Day 3: GUWAHATI – BOMDILA

We continue to Bomdila (365 km / 9 hours) in Arunachal Pradesh. On the way stop at Tezpur. Bomdila, 3,500 meters above sea level, in the Himalayas, is the capital of the West Kameng district in Arunachal Pradesh. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon visit of the Bomdila Monastery and the Craft Center. Overnight.

Day 4: BOMDILA - TAWANG

After breakfast departure for Tawang, (190 km / 7 hours) above 3000 meters above sea level. To get there, you will cross the Sela Pass', about 4200 meters above sea level for the highest motorized road in North East India. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Evening walk to the market. Overnight.

Day 5: TAWANG

Full day to explore Tawang. Visit to his famous monastery Tawang Monastery. The Tawang Monastery also called "Galden Namgyal Lhatse" was founded by Merak Lama Lodre Gyamtso in 1860-61 AD. It stands majestically on a steep hill and gives an excellent view of the Chu valley. Tawang monastery is the second largest monastery in Asia and here there are about 700 monks, but currently there are only 300 lamas. In the afternoon visit to the Urgelling Monastary, at Ani Gonpa located about 12km from Tawang, and where about 100 nuns live. Return to Tawang and overnight.

Day 6 : TAWANG - DIRANG

In the morning departure for Dirang (145 km / 6 hours). Arrival and check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon visit to the Monpa village and to the Buddhist Kalachakra Monastery, whose architecture is similar to the Tibetan one. The monpas are the majority tribe of the area with a simple lifestyle and hard work. Overnight.

Day 7: DIRANG – NAMERI

Today we continue to Eco Camp (241 km / 6 hours) at the Nameri National Park. Upon arrival, check in at the camp. In the afternoon walk on the banks of the river Bhorelli that limits the field. The Eco camp has comfortable double blinds. Overnight.

Day 8: NAMERI - ITANAGAR

After breakfast departure for Itanagar, 265 km / 6 hours, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh Upon arrival, check-in of the hotel. In the afternoon visit to the old Ita Fort, from the 14th century, the Buddhist Monastery and the Tribal Museum. Overnight.

Day 9: ITANAGAR - ZIRO

After breakfast departure for Ziro (150 km / 5 hours). Ziro is a small town of Arunachal Pradesh and famous for its Apatani ethnic group, which founded this region. Arrival, check in. Evening walk to the market. Overnight.

Day 10: ZIRO

Today full day dedicated to the visit of the Apatani tribes. Special feature of these people is that their women are tattooed in the face and with a nose ring. Overnight.

Day 11: ZIRO - DAPORIJO

After breakfast departure for Daporijo, 180 km / 7 hours, visiting the villages along the way. The Tagins and the Hill Miris are the most important tribes in the area. Arrival and overnight.

Day 12: DAPORIJO - ALONG

Today we are leaving for Along, 140 km / 6 hours, admiring the panorama that can be enjoyed along the way. The ethnicity that most meets here is that of ADI GALLONG. Visit their villages on the way. Arrive to Along, check in at the hotel and walk to the local market. Overnight.

Day 13: ALONG - DIBRUGARH

Early in the morning departure to get to the point where the ferry crosses the Brahmaputra, 140 km / 5 hours, 1½ hour ferry to reach Dibrugarh, mainly famous for his tea. Overnight.

Day 14: DIBRUGARH - KOLKATA

In the morning, visit a plantation of tea, where the collection of leaves is still done by hand, you can also practice this work. Then we will visit a tea factory to see how these leaves are processed and packaged. Finally we will participate in the "ceremony" of tasting the final product. Then transfer to the airport for the flight to Kolkata. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the Senator hotel.

After the full day breakfast dedicated to the city visit. Dinner and overnight at the Senator hotel.

Day 16: KOLKATA - DEPARTURE

Early morning transfer to the international airport to take the flight home.
