Rejuvenation Therapy/Body Purification Therapy
With age, the body weakens and various ailments starts showing up. We offer rejuvenation therapy, which is aimed at revitalizing the body, mind and the soul. It helps in strengthening the whole system, toning the skin and generating a state of well being. The procedures include Sirodhara, massaging with medicated oil and cream, intake of rejuvenative medicines, medicated steam bath and rejuvenating herbal face mask. This package can be availed for 7 or 14 nights.

Body Purification Therapy
Otherwise known as Sodhana Chikilsa, body purification therapy helps in removing the toxins deposited in the body. The body is first made ready for the purification process by two main methods:
• Snehana Karma (Oil Therapy) – Therapy using oil and ghee preparations
• Swedana Karma (Sudation Therapy) – Making the body sweat using Njavarakizhi, Pizhichil, Elakizhi, steam bath etc.

After that the purification process is carried out by means of Panchakarma.

The slimming programme at Somatheeram includes medicated herbal powder massage and herbal oil massage. Adhering to the specific diet prescribed during the treatment forms one of the essential parts of the programme. Other treatment procedures include medicated steam bath, intake of herbal juices, herbal tea etc. 21 and 28 nights packages are available for this programme.

The modern day exposes the body and mind to a lot of stress and tension. The stress management programme combines Yoga, meditation and Ayurveda therapy in a 14 nights package to help attain a relaxed state of mind. The other steps in the programme are rejuvenation massage, rejuvenation therapy, dhara, njavarkizhi, thalam, herbal steam bath, herbal pack, intake of herbal medicines etc.

This 22 nights package helps in prolonged lifespan, good health, fine complexion, improved intellect, increased power of retention and strength. The various processes include body massages with special oils and herbal juices, Njavaratheppu (massage with rice pudding), Narangakizhi, Kayasekam (massage with medicated oils, decoctions or milk), Snehapanam, Virechana, Ksheeravasthy etc.
